Anybody been through that stretch lately?

Have a buddy taking his family on an overnight this weekend and they have heard that there is a big logjam right above 133 that might make it impassable. He's going Sunday-Monday so we might head up Saturday and try that stretch but would rather not run into a major obstruction late in the day on a long float.

I just called Gasconade Hills about planning a float. They aren't doing their 10 mile run because the river is blocked upstream from them. Not the same location you're talking about, but I bet they'd know if you called them.

They are the ones that said it was blocked but they also said that a couple of guys were able to get thru there.

I guess there is only one way to know for sure.

If someone tells me there is river is not passable because of a log jam and they haven't been putting in people up there because of it......that would be where I would float for sure, the fishing will be killer.....bet on it

I'll be crossing the 133 bridge in the morning. If I see anything unusual I'll post.

Awesome, thanks. But if that water is muddy I won't be going there.

We took a Jon boat down from Hazelgreen last month and didn't run into any log jams we couldn't get through.
