Johnsfolly Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I don't have any photos, but on our honeymoon I caught a 2 1/2 inch smallmouth on a 2 inch mepps spinner. My wife will always tell me that she caught more fish that day (which she did but all sunfish and yellow perch) and I always counter that I caught the only bass☺! crazy4fishin, Champ188, Ellros and 2 others 3 2
bluebasser86 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Wasn't at Table Rock, but this smallmouth on Beaver was pretty much suicidal. Ellros, terryj1024 and Johnsfolly 2 1

Seth Clarkson Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I didn't take a picture, but in my kayak last fall I caught a 6 to 7 inch bass on my Whopper Plopper 130. Thought it was a leaf and started to reel it back in thinking I would need to take the leaf off so the action would be right. Must have been a reaction bite because he hit it almost instantly. skeeter Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 My Dad (b. 1901) always said that if Bluegill/Sunfish regularly grew to 5 lbs., it wouldn't be safe to swim in fresh water. MGP, Seth Clarkson, Champ188 and 1 other 4
