I guess I'd be more excited about it if everyone else wasn't so OVERLY excited about it.    I'm funny that way.

I mean yeah it's pretty cool....but let's not loose our heads here.

I'm thinking that tomorrow could be a great day for fishing all day. Morning bite, eclipse bite, evening bite. Even if it isn't, I'd rather be on the water than at work trying to keep a bunch of middle schoolers from burning up their retinas all day.

Hell there was 3 eclipses TODAY.

 Clouds moved in about 8:30 then cleared out about 10:00

Then again just after lunch.

And one more time about 4:pm.   

I'm all eclipsed out.  It's all old hat to me now.

The "media" is simply a 24-hour buffet with franchises around the globe. They have stuff you like, and stuff you don't like. Often, some of  the stuff you like is bad for you, and some of the stuff you don't like  is good for you. Consume too much of either, and you're likely to have a bad day. 

Complaining about it is pointless, nobody made you consume it, and you  can walk out at any time.

But wherever you go instead...the "stuff" follows.

You can't avoid the smell of it.

NOT A Bad Description Of The media, everything the media puts out that I hear or see, gets a quick "smell test" sometimes it fails, sometimes the information,while not enjoyable is not incorrect.
