It wasn't long after that when I realized it was way easier to take their money by fixing their boats than it was to beat them at fishing. snagged in outlet 3 1

Members troywaukee Posted August 30, 2017 Author Members Posted August 30, 2017 We've got our trip finalized for Oct. 19th to 22nd. Hoping for a better outcome than last year's trip. Any specific tactics or baits to recommend? Didn't know if that time of year is best for jigs around docks? Looking forward to a calm lake for once!
fishinwrench Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Late October is black buzzbait/Whopper Plopper, square bill and lipless cranks, and jig pitchin' time. Have those baits on deck and you can be assured that you are properly armed. snagged in outlet 3 1

Members Yakalong Posted September 1, 2017 Members Posted September 1, 2017 I would add white rooster tail for white bass
MOPanfisher Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Definitely, or a white swimming jig, or maybe a blue/chrome rattle trap. Them whites and hybrids have made a few trips when crappie wouldn't cooperate. Johnsfolly 1
Hydro 205 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Had this big boy this morning. First time I've been out in 2 weeks they are starting to move. 5.2 lbs Bushbeater, fishinwrench, Johnsfolly and 4 others 7
