Get over it.

That will really help the issue. So if you (as well as many others), feel that there is a flaw in a policy, just get over it. Not challenging the status quo or addressing issues that can directly affect any wildlife species isn't going to help. Just sit down, shut up, and hope one day your children will have books to show them what Missouri streams used to be like.

I think squeaky wheels get the grease, meat fishing is going out of style....many state fisheries mandate is to provide user groups with what they want..the groups that fish for the pan are getting smaller...the groups that C & R are getting bigger, fish like Muskies, small mouths, and trout come to mind,....personally if someone I was with, wanted or munch a 3lb smallie, I'll yatch slap they so hard they might pee out their nipples for a week....if you need food that bad..go to wally world and get a $1 pack of hot dogs..if you want diner on a float/camping trip..keep a rock bass or 3,..let those brown bass go, takes too long to grow one to use they only once

How did missouri streams used to be like?  I am pretty sure that missouri streams have NEVER been free of giggers.  Even before Europeans colonized them, the native americans gigged before they angled.   Republicans are a WAY bigger threat to Missouri streams than giggers.

Native Americans didn't have jet boats with 2 million candle power LED spotlights. Its hard to convince folks that illegal gigging is a huge problem who have never seen the carnage themselves. The country folk talk amongst themselves and know who's doing it. There's absolutely no denying it.

I'm curious as to why only Republicans are the threat to our streams. Most anglers and conservation minded people are more than likely Republicans.

Its also a bit concerning that folks advocate violence at the thought of keeping a bass to eat lol.

That one I will agree with.

I have.....it is what it is and I know that. I have succumb to the fact that this is as good as it gets as far as river fishing for bass is concerned to the MDC.

It doesn't bother me anymore, it used to but, not anymore......it is what it is.

100% spot on. I also highly doubt that Native Americans left their stream accesses littered with dead fish that they decided not to keep.
