"This is UTC 140 denier, but you can use whatever thread you like". "Start by pinching down the barb, then put your hook in the vise". "Begin by laying down a nice even thread base". "Attach the dumbbell eyes in a cris-cross pattern, making sure they are straight". "Measure your tail and tie it in so it is the same length as your hook shank". "Be careful around the hook points as it can cut your thread". "Add a 1/2 hitch after this step". "Add another 1/2 hitch after THIS step". "Be sure to add a 1/2 hitch after each step". "Put on a drop of super glue". "Fold your flash material over the thread and guide it into place as you wrap forward". "I like my flashabou to be just a bit longer than the tail....like so". "Watch that hook point, it will cut your thread". "Oh crap, I cut my thread. That's ok I can just wrap right back on over it, it will be fine". "Add another 1/2 hitch".
