rps Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Evidently there were several tournaments on the lake today. Saw a higher percentage of boat packs moving from location to location than normally. They certainly had a beautiful day for it and the recreation crowd seemed smaller. I found 74 to 76 degree water temps while I was out from 8 to 12. What I did not find was the walleye for which I looked. I also found a fellow walleye fisherman I know through a different board. He used to fish frequently with a former member of this board who went by the user name of Martin. He was trolling leadcore and had found one keeper at 27 feet. He did better than I did. I had one fish on that felt good, but I never saw it before it was gone. I did see another interesting thing. A two story Carver came into the Holiday Island Marina and drained it of all the gasoline. Colin was scrambling to get another delivery. Donna G, 176champion, magicwormman and 2 others 5

I am very pleased! I know for a fact that can be tuff. But I also believe that you gotta get back on that horse as soon as you can though or you're actually cheating both of you........ Champ188 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hard to even THINK about. Can't imagine what I'd do.

Tanderson15 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I also know the passing of a fishing buddy. For 7 yrs Leonard and I fished almost every Tuesday and Thursday for walleye. He died of brain cancer. Fishing has not been the same, but I know he's always with me. It's hard to replace those guys. magicwormman, Ron Burgundy, Bass Yakker and 3 others 4 2
