Two hybrid stripers may or may not be able to make babies, but hybrids most definitely do interbreed successfully with white bass, and if you come fishing with me this Fall I'll prove it to you. A pure White bass is getting more scarce every year on the 4 ends of LO that I fish regularly.

         Ok then don't tell me prove the  white bass deal to the MDC. Make a case and follow through. Do something. The place I fish I have never seen a problem. What may I be missing? I catch whites and Hybrids. It is either one no doubt but nothing in between.  What am I missing Wrench?  Help me understand. I will see what I can find too. I like to learn.  Bet no one wants to fish with the BilletHead now .

Wouldn't matter if anybody proved anything to them, the damage (if you consider it that, like I do) is already done and there's no hope of reversing it regardless of who gets shown what.   

And you lost that bet, I still wanna go fishing. 😀

They are fun to catch so I'll continue chasing them, but they aren't the true full blooded whites of yesteryear.

        No buddy just wanted you to let them know what you have witnessed. Really want to know what you are seeing in the fish different so I can see if I notice here. We can talk more in a couple of weeks.

No time to waste on the MDC. Done with them. Will vote to defund them at any opportunity. Permit sales needs to become an important part of their revenue stream again. They won't listen to anglers and hunters again until that happens.

They don't care what anybody witnesses.  They might pretend to care...but care they do not.  

I don't play the lake/river X blindfold game.  Anybody that fears disclosing a fishing hole to me has already decided that I will never be a true friend of theirs regardless, otherwise they'd give me the benefit of a doubt.  I have veteran status at this fishing business, been at it long enough that I roll my eyes when guys play that game.   "I found this wicked awesome stretch of river but I'm not gonna tell you where it is".    Ok  Must not be that awesome if a few passes by ME is gonna wipe it out.

  Now Oneshot?    That dude will eat 'em.  😋

The fish we enjoy chasing would more than likely be safe. Oneshot only likes the ones that have the good kissing lips.
