OK that one a bit of a stretch, lakes in mo generally didn't come into being by a natural accident, aren't literally going dry with no inflow to sustain them.  The Salton Sea is a unique critter that was doomed from the beginning.

No, no, no.  That's like totally and absolutely impossible.

You see, the government and EPA have regulations that completely prevent things like that from ever happening and they monitor the industries very closely to make sure that nobody breaks any of the rules and to ensure that us and the environment remain totally unaffected and safe!

They're trying to build one of those babies about fifteen miles from us and local folks (on both sides) are about to lose their minds.

Although "Tyson of Tonganoxie" does have a certain ring to it.....

No we dis it on purpose.... we slammed a few million tons of concrete over the rivers....if they opened it to the gulf of baja they proposed back in the day...but never was gonna happen, no much big $ against it..interesting reads on the history of the event....would have loved to fish for those corvina back in the day...they still fish for them there but breathing the wind blow salt laced with all those other nastys
