I settled on the harbor freight bulk hook kit and discarded the useless ones. Felt cheaper and some were useful on tool boards in the shop

I need to check them out. They don’t always have the best equipment but for stuff like that they are great.

The 2-inch length would be awfully short to hang multiple bags or lure packages. I use the 8-inch size. And no comments from the peanut gallery, please.

Yep Royal. I bought some kit that had a bunch of pieces for that board. Only a few are usable for fishing stuff. I’ve got right around $50 invested so far. Those long ones I used are sold separately at almost a dollar after taxes. Looks like I’m gonna have at least another $20-30 more invested in it. I actually think this is going to save me money in the long run. Instead of just grabbing something at the tackle store because I’m not sure I have it or not I can check that board out first. It will be displayed instead of stuffed somewhere out of sight.

I know for a fact it's going to save me money.  Or at least make my Tackle Warehouse habit more precise...

I have been guilty of that a time or two myself.  Buy a bag of plastics thinking I am out, and couple weeks later I find I have 3 bags of said plastics buried under other stuff.

It will not save you money, first the empty pegs will need to be used, then you will notice that they can be moved closer together, thus creating space for more pegs which will need filling.

Basfis called it. I went to Harbor Frieght. 3 pack of 8 inchers was $1.99. Bought 7 of them. Made some more progress.

Can you reach the pegboard from the boat? I wish I could but my shop is not set up to make that easily accomplished.

A buddy of mine had that set up plus a ceiling fan above to dry it. I did manage to install a ceiling fan over it.
