All other costs not specifically stated herein as being awarded are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. The good news is you won a boat, the bad news is that it is located at our BPS dealership in Siberia. Hahaha. People always over on BBC start threads complaining about winning boats or boat certificates at Tournament XYZ. In the end, yeah, you pay associated taxes and all the fee's that come with purchasing a new boat. But in the end you are getting a $35,000-$40,000 brand new rig at 80%+ off. Hard to complain about that, unless you are a BBC member. In which case you will complain about anything under the sun. Bushbeater, crazy4fishin and Royal Blue 3

abkeenan Posted January 11, 2018 Author Posted January 11, 2018 Just a heads up that the season starts 4 weeks from today. So still plenty of time for everyone to join. At the same time it's an early start to the season this year with Lake Martin starting on Feb. 8-11th. So be sure to set your rosters before that roster lock on the morning of Feb. 8th. Good luck all. crazy4fishin 1

Anglers over there are not nearly as well known, especially outside of the top handful of guys on the FLW. FLW also does not get the coverage like BASS does (live streams, BASStrakk, TV coverage of the event weeks later, etc) so it just doesn't appeal to me, or most fantasy guys as best I can tell. Have signed up for FLW before but never pay attention in the end. Bottom line is that it just isn't as much fun. I do watch the FLW Tour events on TV when they are broadcast because they have a decent production there. But I, myself, enjoy doing the BASS Fantasy deal and then watching my picks a month or two later on TV to see exactly how they won, placed in the near the top or tanked. Just adds an enjoyable element for me as I like to see the" how and why's" of the best guys in the world breaking down a body of water. Not to start a FLW vs BASS Elite thread (plenty of those over on BBC if you're interested) but BASS is like watching MLB and FLW is like watching Single A ball. Not to say that FLW doesn't have some real sticks in there that could compete with the Elites. But, if you want to fish against the BEST anglers in the world you make the jump to fish the Elite Tour. crazy4fishin and Champ188 2

I have no idea what Lake Martin is all about other than I read it has a dink problem and it's going to be a 14" fish fest. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
