We thought he was horrible. Nobody liked any of the entertainment actually.  And the commercials weren’t great either.

I was trapped in my brother’s garage with two guys smoking cigars and two women smoking cigarettes. Too far from the TV, people talking over the announcers, officials and commercials and making stupid comments. (Not the missus).

We left for home at halftime because I knew I didn’t want to sit through Headly Lamar, or whoever. From what I saw after it was not for us at all. Plus the smoke was making me sick

I miss the days when there were great halftime shows. Petty, McCartney, etc. It would have been cool if Trump had ordered Paul out of the stands and made him perform!😀

Yep and closed caption couldn’t keep up.  I can’t remember the last good Super Bowl halftime show that I saw to say nothing about the bad commercials.

Nice! You got my reference!

I'll never forget the first time I saw that movie. My dad loved westerns and took my brother and I to see it at the thee-ater (his pronunciation). I was 13, my brother 11. It wasn't what he expected :D

One of our favorite Folly family movies. We quote lines from this movie and the Holy Grail all the time followed closely by Princess Bride.

Any Van Morrison fans out there?  I love the guy. Just watched an excellent move “Belfast” that he did most of the sound track for.

Watch it!

Dang right we do. I know we have several CDs

"We have met the enemy and it is us",

Pogo

Lefty Kreh

" Never display your knowledge, you only share it"

Lefty Kreh

BilletHead

Really like Van Morrison at the Folly Household as well. We even have some songs that he performed with the Chieftains. Also Mick Jagger's version of the Long Black Veil.

I will have to watch that movie. I used to drive into Belfast for supplies when I was working in Northern Ireland in the late 90's. They no longer had border crossing gates/checkpoints, but there was always a heavily fortified military building with "police/troops" at the border crossings. Lots and lots of IRA murals on the buildings through town.
