There are some nice LMB on the Meramec drainage. Usually fishing  for smallmouth but they are there in the slack water with wood.

I love river largemouth.  Whether or not they come out of ponds or lakes (personally I don't think many of the bigger ones do), they are native to all these rivers, and are a valuable part of the species makeup.  Plus, they don't directly compete with the smallmouth the way spots do.

No. I'm not that good at installing garage door openers. Just another thing for me to feel inferior about.
