Have a potential window to come down again this weekend again...

Looks like TableRock is still inching up?  Any word on when they might stop the 10k plus flows?  Any lake level they are targeting?

Won't be much wade fishing in that flow though, may need to see a man about a boat!

Man 2nd straight day of 4 units over 12k CFS... Am I reading too much into it that they will run this until they hit 915 at TR?  Guess that will determine if I venture down or not...  Hate to miss an opportunity though, I've had some of my best days after heavy generation down there.

They are running water out of Beaver also, about 4K CFS, hard to know when they are going to stop, usually they keep Phil in the loop, maybe he can chime in.

Although I was just down it feels good to be back in the water.  Heavy flow though but fish don't seem to mind so far.

Stinking Walters

Turning in for the night, gonna grab a couple hours of sleep and then head back out at daybreak.  Was pretty slow tonight but we picked up a handful of bows.  All little guys, but one had a fat little belly starting.  One bow and the Walter on the jerk baits, rest came on jigs.  White and white grey 3/32.

Water was moving at 13k CFS.  Basically almost bank fishing...  At 1am looks like they dropped down to 3 units.  Cut the flow to 10k. So that will hopefully free up a few more spots on the shoreline.  Fished mostly between outlet 1 and the dam.  Schedule says they will run that all day tomorrow so I guess we'll see what they do.  

My buddy caught his first rainbow trout ever.  He's a first timer down here so I'm hoping we can get a consistent bite going. 

We were seeing allot of fish actively feeding on the surface, which I'm betting they are hitting the shad coming through.

Glad that you guys got into some fish. Looking forward to some more posts! I'm deciding if I have enough warm clothes to fish the mountains. They're talking about a high of 35.

The Corps sends out emails if there's a high water event, like flood gates, but not when there's water running like now.

I thought they'd cut back today and they did.  3 units this morning should be pretty manageable.  TR is starting to drop pretty good now.  With no rain in the 10 day forecast, we should see flows slowing down and lake levels dropping real slow.

Still, would love to see them drop both lakes down... as far as they can go.  Don't want to see another 6-8 inch rain over 2-3 days again this spring.
