Johnsfolly Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Had our first hummingbird show up here in Columbia. Always amazed at how small they look like early in the season. Quickly got feeders out. Ham and BilletHead 2

Johnsfolly Posted May 13, 2018 Author Posted May 13, 2018 We have at least two male and one female hummingbird hitting our feeders. The big surprise was several male and female rose breasted grosbeaks hitting our seed feeders before I went to Maryland. While in Maryland Sue tells me that we have baltimore orioles in the yard this year. I saw a male and two females hitting the jelly feeder yesterday. No photos yet. BilletHead 1
Seth Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 One flew in our to our window which has a big screen covering it on the outside and got his beak stuck for a bit yesterday. I was just about to go out and give him a helping hand, but he finally worked his way out on his own. snagged in outlet 3, Quillback and tho1mas 2 1
Quillback Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Couple of days ago I went out on the back deck, was leaning against the rail looking out into the woods, when a hummer flew up to about 2 feet in front of my face and hung there staring at me for about 3 seconds, then he turned around and left. I think he wanted to fight.
