garyw Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 has any ranger guys/gals ever gone to the ranger website and priced out their boat? how close wa
97procraft Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 There prices are about the same at the other top brands.
Bill Babler Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 if you mean build and price, at the end they will send you to a dealer in your area and you will be able to work out any final details and options. What the site does is just give you a general printable idea that you can take to the dealer. As far as final price I know that they have been much more competitive since they were purchased by BP They still use very quality products and with BP they are able to do much better since a lot of the previous Ranger pricing was involved in some pretty heavy corporate salaries and a huge pro-team. They are still very active with guides and full time tournament fishermen, but now not everyone that fishes a tournament twice a year gets a Ranger deal. On my 2017 Phoenix PHX that I got last year, Ranger's team deal was less money for a similar size boat with similar equipment than my PHX. Not sure how this applies in price to a straight retail deal. Good luck, you simply cannot go wrong with any of the top end boats anymore, they are all so nice and its really just what rings your bell. If your in Missouri or close to Warsaw Mo, give Pro Choice Marine a shout and ask for Luke, tell him I told you to call him and I will bet you will not be able to find a better deal on a Ranger anywhere. Sore Thumbs Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 I want a Phoenix. I like what I see as far as the layout and fish ability. Haven’t driven one or fished off the front deck, but every Phoenix owner I talk to loves their boat. I don’t want to waste any dealers time just yet, but when the time is right I’m seriously considering a Phoenix. WeekendWarrior 1
Bill Babler Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Thumbs your more than welcome to take mine for a spin at anytime. It eats big water like I do BBQ. I have the Super Charged Merc 250 four stroke and it is a fishing machine. Extremely low attitude in the water, dry as the desert and you need gps cords to keep track of where you are on the front deck as it is so big. The 2019's are coming out with some fantastic new features including heated seats, rail mounted bow lights and some super tackle storage options, including day boxes that keep you fishing without moving around much. Resale on the boats is second to non and they are the fastest growing BB line in the world. You might have noticed how many pro's were running them in the classic, both this year and last year. I've been very blessed to be able to pretty much run what I want at some super discounts and have not found another boat I would run. That shows in the fact that I could have run other top end boats for less than my current Phoenix deal. I can only imagine what your going thru. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife. When the time comes and you get settled in at Table Rock, if you ever need a fishing partner for an afternoon, just mention it on this forum and if I'm not down there at that time, there are a great bunch of Guy's on this forum, some of which i have met, and I'm sure someone will be there, no doubt in my mind. Quillback Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Gary, you have my condolences also. And if Lake Lover is not available, I'd be happy to show you some fishing spots on the upper end. techo 1
