Gatorjet Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Any Brown I catch will be saved for later fishermen. A bit more educated, and maybe photographed, but saved for the next guy. Royal Blue and snagged in outlet 3 2 Real men go propless!

I know you put them back, but their mouths will still be sore by the time I get there. Just don't HOOK all of them so I can tangle with a few. 11-13" rainbows are about the only thing I bother keeping. When I bake them, the pin bones soften up enough that you can just eat them and not worry about getting stuck. Anything much bigger, and they are big enough to where I have to cut around them or just cut them out before cooking. trythisonemv and snagged in outlet 3 2
trythisonemv Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Still hoping for. A trophy Brown I have restricted to Oct hunting due to work the last few years. Going to try hitting an evening/morning combo sometime in June. Hope they are still in there after the holiday assault
snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 On our annual fall trip to the white we always keep a mess for a fry. We only keep the 12-13'ers too.
Members jbadrian Posted May 26, 2018 Members Posted May 26, 2018 When you are targeting these big browns what line are you using?
duckydoty Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 4 hours in this morning and got 2 more over 21 inches. I’m using anywhere from from 4-8 pound trilene xl, just depending on weight and size of lure.
