I found that the heat shrink and bonding process can be combined and sped up by putting in microwave. Gets a little sparky at first but just stick with it till a little smoke starts coming out.  Have no idea what it weighs, but it’s pretty light.

Well, off to Walmart to get a new microwave.

That may work, but it is at least 10X the size of the 256 micro in bulk and length .

Look at the amount of sheer bulk and I am assuming it is thread and the tail is similar to the ones that Tim brought over for us to look at.   I'm not saying in any way that is will not catch fish., but it is not near a 256 1/2 micro, just to much material involved.  Not close and I have tyed similar and it is not the same.

Well if I sell the handful of Turner's I have on eBay then we should be able to fund Duane's adventure lol...

At least get him a nice new microwave!

Even the 256 doesn’t weigh 256. It weighs a little over 1/100, that’s 2 1/2 times the suggested weight. Blah, blah, blah

Does appear larger, but I figured that could be in using a different camera. Or a different pixel count or some other computer related  majik.

 Name of that new jig can be the "10X"  or  use Roman numerals "X X" .  Them microwaves  smell the whole house up when that happens.

Yup. Bill posted a picture of one with a dime as a reference.  A dime is real close to being 11/16 of an inch long. The jig I just whipped up to see if anything other than a Turner can catch a fish is real close to being 10 inches long making it well over 10x in length.   Oh well, go big, or stay home....... think I’ll keep throwing cranks and jerks.
