Father's Day Morning Quickie

Met up with @Hog Wally and @Smalliebigs for a quick trip this morning. On the water at daybreak and off by the time it started getting hot. We caught 2 giants right off the bat and several solid fish throughout the morning. Hog Wally lost a 3rd giant but there was nothing he could do. That big smallie hit a topwater at the end of a long cast in current on the other side of a log. She came clear out of the water and spit the bait after a few seconds. Were also able to take a few Spots out of the river system which is always a plus. Awesome way to spend a Father's Day morning. Thank you Aaron for taking us out and put us around quality fish!... Was great to get together! Happy Father's Day everyone... Hope you were able to spend it on the water!

Those are great fish! Too bad that Hog Wally lost the trifecta fish. Still sounds like a great day. Congrats and happy father's day!

It was a perfect morning. The bite sure died fast with the heat though.

yes it did and to go along with that as well....Hog Wally was having us really take a pic as fast as possible and get the fish back in moving water for release as soon as possible....we didn't have those fish out of the water more than 10 seconds as we kept them in the net. Hog Wally is taking expert care of these fish and that is very important now that the water temps have gone thru the roof already.
