Went over to a Pomme de Terre. Put 3 Catfish Rods out with Stink Bait. and had one Rod, baited with Worms another Rod I was using Beetle spin.

Caught two Channel Cats, some Bluegill and one Drum.

Before leaving I was gathering up stuff looked over o_O That don't look right! Had two Catfish Rods out, went over, Rod holder was laying there. My Good Rod is in the Creek. Cut the Beetle Spin off, put good size weight on and pretty good size treble Hook on. Snagged my line right off. Got my Rod in, reeled a nice Channel Cat in.

Have extra boats I would not mind storing, but your location is no good for me. Maybe hit up Fishnwrench for something he wants off of his property?

That Little Aluminum V bottom is tempting, but don't lake fish much...Would be perfect to tear up in MN, MI, WI or Canada.

Don't forget to take a bail bucket. It wants to go to the bottom quicker than it can get across the cove.

People drop these boats off and say "check it out and lemme know how much it will take to fix it up".    Then once I give them the news they either decide to go forward with it....or they don't, and then never come and get the stupid things.   I mow around them for a year or two then if nobody responds to my call/message they get parted out and/or sold for scrap.

That is a business decision.....if not gone in a timely manner they should pay rent or  surrender the title if abandoning the property.

Eh, it's no big deal really.   If I push the issue, demand a title, or threaten to charge "storage" then they won't feel welcome to come back after they buy ANOTHER boat.

Be forgiving, deal with their duds, and stay on good terms... that's my business decision.

Understand that!  Don't piss them off if annuity biz. If new, different decision. A freebie for a hope of new biz is just lost money.
