top right corner of page, your name has a drop down menu, on that is ignored users.

I think it's silly, because it just keeps you from seeing what he/she wrote, it doesn't keep he/she from writing nor others from reading.  And if it is quoted you will still see it in the quote. If it isn't quoted replies to the comment you can't see may not make sense, I have even seen such replies make the blocker take offense, thinking the reply was aimed at him/her.

It is real easy to just not click  on any  user's post if you don't want to see it. Or to act the part of an adult and not get offended by other's views, this is after all the internet and freedom of opinion is widely accepted, sorta like "freedom of speech" .

Yeah I agree, I don't want to censor anyone.  They can say what they want and express their opinions.    The original post was supposed to be positive, and some people took it in a negative direction, and now that's all this post is about.  Unfortunately that's just the way some people are.

I’m not blocking a dumb butt from being a dumb butt, but out of sight is out of mind. I’m much less annoyed by certain idiots if I get to ignore there content. Unfortunately, I see it when someone quotes them, but I can live with it. 

Good Grief, I am not blocking anubody for their differing viewpoints. I block ppl that are a-holes that stir the pot and troll ppl AND/OR they just annoy me by being inane. 

It does not impede that person in any way, I’m just happier that I don’t have to see their content. 

Clear as mud to some I suppose. I honestly think it is an awesome feature.

Well hell if I had to block people who annoy me, I would at times have to block myself.  Besides those oddball posts don't bother me, usually they amuse me and sometime I get to have a little fun with them.

Yeah the block feature is great because I have no idea what you all are talking about. I do notice all the good will that has resulted.

         I don't block because sometimes it is fun to laugh my rear off at what garbage some people spout off about. Nice to laugh once and awhile . Try not to get mad.
