Is that stringer tethered to a dock ?  I've seen turtles do the same.

I saw 3 Otters criusing the resort docks Wednesday, between Lilley’s and Ozark resort.

Had a turtle  eat several crappie on a stringer hanging from my jon boat once. Took bites from fish that it didn't eat too.

I lost the fishing tournament at Scout camp about a 100 years ago due to turtles.  The heads won third though.

Same here, brother and I thought we had it locked up only to pull up a stringer of heads.  Been ~40 years and I am still mad!!!

Under our dock.  We've had several guests lose their fish to otters the last few days.  Some funny stories too.

Duane had a hold of the stringer while I stuck the Gopro under the water.  They were spooky cause they could see us.

Will try to get more video of them when we hear them around.  There were 5 of them.

You need to put up some Please don't feed the Otters signs before that ceases to be cute.

I've heard they can fill a boat up with scat and that they tear upholstery out of boats?

A nuisance trapper told me that they are quite difficult to trap around a dock like that, he had several marinas that wanted them gone, and was having a lot of trouble removing them. Vicious animals if trapped or cornered, I don't think I would encourage them at all.

Great video though. Surprising amount of  fish parts floating away.
