No reason to kill a big fish at all these days if you can help it. Has it been so long since you have fished that replicas weren't even a thing yet? What kind of injury did you sustain that prevents you from getting out and fishing at all? I've seen some pretty crippled up people who still manage to get out and fish. snagged in outlet 3 and JestersHK 2

I've seen some pretty crippled up people who still manage to get out and fish. Yes replicas have been around a long time...many 10 pound rep bass is on the wall for dudes that caught 8s with long arms...have released some fish I have not even photoed, i was in hospital 8 plus months could not walk for another 6 I separated a hip and developed complications, been thinking of getting a tank tred chair, but my biggest issue is at this point is stamina, bathroom availability, etc it’s not as easy as one would think, Trust me when I tell you it’s tourture not fishing, my goal was to be retired and fishing everyday, but living vicariously through others is the next best thing and rewarding when I share how tos and those using the tips have success...fortunately I have been blessed with success and have caught many trophy fish of different species... but of all the species the hardes to catch true trophy sized are common carp, stll love other kinds of fishing, and have seen many great fisheries go into decline for various reasons...don’t hear of giant walleyes any more ...fish in the mid to upper teens Or the huge smallies that Stockton was known for, some places are better, but don’t share those but with close friends who can keep secrets, perhaps this is the year I can get out, at least for a bit Seth 1 MONKEYS? what monkeys?

The thought of not being able to fish would be very difficult for me to handle. I truly hope you are able to get back out there and wet a line one day soon. nomolites and MoCarp 2
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 3, 2019 Root Admin Posted March 3, 2019 Disappointed this topic took a turn to the nasty side. And by some who have been on here for a lot of years - and should know better. The ice is getting thin... spring is almost here. Now knock it off. JestersHK, Seth, ness and 2 others 3 2
