I decided to whip up a kayak rack for my dayly driver. I went around the rear hatch hinges with a strap, then through the door with another. It's all coming back to me now....3 kids no money 1986 chevy cavalier wagon, one canoe. Good times ! There is really not and economical roof rack for a 2 door hatchback.
