Last seen partying at Coconut's and he knew his way around well enough that getting killed was pretty much out of the question.   So I'm left to assume that someone fell in love with him and decided to steal him.

Yep. I could see him going home with pretty much anyone. He was a very friendly pup.

He was a good boy that would do anything you wanted him to do.  He lived to please whoever he was hanging out with, never once causing a problem or being a nuisance.  

Orion is the polar opposite of Riverdog, he has to test your patience every day, and once he's taken you to the point of wanting to kick him in the face then he's happy and wants to be your best friend. His latest "thing" is initiating a staring contest.  He will sit down in front of you and just gaze into your eyes with his ears perked up like he wants you to do something or is expecting you to do something for him......but he doesn't really need or want anything, just demands to be the center of attention.  If you stare him down and ignore him long enough then he will go get something like a sock, shoe, ornament off the Christmas tree ect. and then stand there with it as if to say "Looky here! Whatcha gonna do now?". 

Once he has finally pushed every button and gotten you irritated enough to pop him upside the head and scream at him.....then he comes over, lays his head on your leg or will cuddle up with one of the girls as if to say "I just love this family sooo much".      

He's a weirdo and a jackass that lives to toy with your emotions.
