Just To Go

My wife has been wanting to go to the Gulf. My Bad I always think Fishing or Hunting. Found a place on a River and 20 minutes away from the Gulf, found another place right on the Beach.

We have a place next to Truman Lake and where we live is next to Bennett Springs State Park.

How do you guys keep your train of thought off fishing on a trip?

Fishing is the only good reason I can think of to leave my yard.   Bedamned if I'm traveling further than 1/4 tank of gas will take me if there isn't some kind of fishing to be done.

Well give me a place and I'm thinking what fishing is in the area and what Rods to take. I have been known to sneak fish into some nice Hotels.

Right now we are going with Airbnb so decide on where to Clean them and Freeze them in the Refrigerator Freezer. I mean come on, house on the river, they have to know.

My wife why does it always involved Hunting or Fishing? I rather Sightsee.

There are no fish in the Gulf.  Just remember that and you will be fine.

It’s true. Not many fish in the gulf! The red tide & pollution has killed most of them.
