The plueger and Abu spinning reels are the same reels in comparable models over the last 4 years.  I have both the older xt pluegers and some revo sx, sxt, and premier spinning reels.  The newer sxt revo and premier has a great drag and excellent spool for braid.  I like them over about anything I have tried.  You pay more for lighter  reel and a better drag.

Used to only have stradics, but they aren't what they used to be.

Ditto.  Would love to have a Stella or Steez as Bill mentioned, but hard to justify when my Pfleuger Supremes, Presidents, and Abu Revos for around $100 perform so well and last so long.  The Lew's bait casters also work very well (Tourn MB, Tourn Pro, Tourn Pro G, and Super Duty).  I don't fish enough anymore to be able to justify the expense.  But if you can afford and justify, you cannot go wrong with the advice Mr Babler gave.

That said, I recently lucked in to an Aldebaran on the cheap and it seems to be fantastic, but have not fished with it long.  It is nice to fish with a setup that weighs less than 8 oz total.     Its not necessary, but it is fun!

NOTHINg but problems with Lews spinning reels, I like my Pfluegers as much as my Procyon and they are much cheaper.  Bass pro has the Plueger Summit XT on sale for $39 right now.  HAvent used it yet but it feels as good as my other Pfluegers

I’m a big fan of Lews Bait Casters, but Ill never buy another Lews spinning reel. I bought Team Gold and they are Just not good enough for the money.

Shimano lost me forever with binding issues.

Daiwa and Pflugers for me.

I have the Team Gold also. But it just doesnt cast near as far as my cheaper Presidents. Even when rigged with the same line on the same rod. Pretty disappointing. IT was pretty expensive when i got it to

bought one of those Falcon spinning reels from NABATAK a few years ago when they came out. What a piece of junk. I can't remember which model , but the thing basically fell apart inside on the first fish. Not sure if I just got a lemon or what.  Sent it back and got a Pflueger President Limited . What a diff in quality and performance compared to the Falcon.

I have 4 other spinning reels, all of them Revo S. Had them about 3 years now, no issues, all perform as they should.
