Quillback Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 Warm enough this evening that the bats are out flying around.
BilletHead Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 I believe it as I seen one the last warm up we had plus a spring peeper was sounding off. jdmidwest Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Bees were flying this weekend. But they were flying Christmas Day also. Snow geese were heading north tonite when I dropped off the grandkid when we came back from farm. Turkey gobbler in full strut this morning on way out to farm. I did look around for morels today, just in case. Bucks were loosing antlers on all game cams this week. I have been watching the bats every trip back from the farm for the last month. They were out at 4 today. I think winter must be over. tho1mas 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Snows headed north all weekend over my house. The giant flocks of robins are back too. But they do that all winter if it warms up at all.
BilletHead Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Peepers are a peeping again this morning. Slow between peeps but sounding off none the less. That will change in the next couple of days as the peeping will stop with the weather going back to normal. Like JD my bees are out looking around. BilletHead This Afternoon the Koi fed on pellets in the garden pond and then I spied a grasshopper, BilletHead Quillback and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" I lost more hives this past winter than previous decade combined. Terrierman 1
Terrierman Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 There was a cricket on my back step yesterday.
bfishn Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I saw a caravan of RVs with Minnesota tags headed north Saturday. Pretty sure it was the same gaggle of vagabonds I saw headed back south today. Guess I better bring some wood in tonight. BilletHead 1 I can't dance like I used to.
