Gavin Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Out last weekend, guess we picked the wrong one. Folks were in shorts last Saturday. That pic is from the Sunday blizzard of 2014. Took most of us 6hrs to get back to STL/STC that day. BTW, easiest place to put in at Baptist is behind the shitter. Most of the remodel has eroded away. snagged in outlet 3 and Greasy B 2

Work will start soon to put in new launch. The federal Highway Administration is doing the work and they are funded.
Gavin Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Thanks for the update Mike. Think they should just leave it alone. The more they disturb it the more the river takes. Used to be a big deep hole at the end of a gravel road. Went south after they paved it. awhuber, Greasy B and Terrierman 3
jdmidwest Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 The handicap fishing ramp was a good place to drink beer and watch the float crowd go thru. If I was in a wheelchair and went there to fish, I would have been offended. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Gavin Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 The Handicap Spot is a joke. Take it out. It does not belong there.
jdmidwest Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 It has survived more floods that I ever thought it would. I thought it would be gone the first spring. awhuber 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
moguy1973 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 This storm shutdown I-44 between Eureka and Valley Park last night. People had to stay in their cars overnight. I wonder if people up in Minnesota and Michigan have issues like these? -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 If you drive a rear wheel car or truck and try to make it up antire hill you aren’t going to make it. We have a solid 9-10 inches here. Cars all over in ditches. Daryk Campbell Sr and Terrierman 2
