Megabass 110 help

I am a flatlander who usually spends one week a year at Tablerock. I am trying to widen my jerkbait horizons. I currently throw Spro Mc stick 100 and pointer 100 and 78. I am looking to purchase a handful of Megabass 110 jerkbaits for my trip this year. Please recommend which model and colors for Tablerock. At $25 a pop, I want to get the right ones on the first try.

I'm a big fan of the Vision OneTen in GP Pro Blue, Elegy Bone and GP Skeleton Tenn. I know that Babler catches loads of them on the Stain Reaction in the +1 deeper diver.

If you want to save some $$ and catch them just as good, buy you some Rick Clunn STX baits in Pro Blue, Black Stardust or Herring Bone Chartreuse.

100% agree with Champ.  I would also recommend a "silent" in one of your choice for the neutral to negative feeding fish.

If I was only buying one it would be ITO Natural,  then Elergy bone, finally a mat shad or ayu.

So many good colors!  Look them over.  GP Pro Blue is a solid pick for one, or GP Pro Blue 2, and French Pearl early & late in the day.

Champ have you got any RC STX lately? The new ones are a totally different mold than the ones a couple years old. No sure when it changed but i was comparing a couple the other day and the new ones are much wider. I havent used any of the news ones so i cant comment on the action. It was just somthing a buddy and i noticed this year When looking real close and comparing different Jerks

That's interesting, I have the older STX's and they are very hard to tell apart from a 110.  Haven't seen the new ones.

I bought a new Pro Blue the other day but haven't taken it out of the package. Also, I don't know if it is actually "new" or one that's been on the rack awhile. Sounds like they must have changed blanks. Sure hope they didn't mess them up because Quillback can tell you, the older ones will catch the heck out of em. Sure, you get one every now and then that isn't quite right, but for $8 each, I can live with that. 

Appreciate the heads-up. I'll check it out. Did you get your wider one from TW?

I do know they messed up the paint job on their Purple Green Apple color a couple of years ago. The green is much brighter now whereas the older ones were more subtle.

The ones at Bass Pro in Springfield have definitly changed but they probably cycle through 100's a month.  Ive always thrown RC STX too and have done just fine with them.

I really like the 110 Plus one in stain reaction OB.  That orange belly seems to be the ticket.  Elegy bone gets bit as well.  Don't be afraid of a SPRO McStick in Blue Bandit either.
