fishinwrench Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I don't care how you mount it, just don't leave jizz on the CDC.

We butchered a doe and he got carried away with the trimmings. The idiot needs to learn to slow down and chew his food !
jdmidwest Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Had a blue heeler that liked pig balls one time. Every time we cut pigs, he would gulp then down whole as we tossed them to him. After a while, he would go out into the field and barf them up. Then come back for more. Dogs never seem to learn. fishinwrench, Daryk Campbell Sr, Gavin and 1 other 4 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Lancer09 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 A few years back when I went on a hog hunt in Texas one of the guys asked if they had a taxidermist or if he should take it home to mount it. JohnP Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I've always liked the barnwood slats or shadowbox with the birds hanging from a old nail on leather strap similar to these. Johnsfolly, Daryk Campbell Sr, Terrierman and 2 others 5
jdmidwest Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Good looking mounts. In the old days, ducks hung outside for a few days to age the meat. Strip out the guts was all you did in the field. Gavin Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Think the Pintail Drakes look the best. Mallard drakes are what you shoot at in MO.
