Weren't as many tomatoes at the farmer's market as you harvested this last couple of days😁. @BilletHead dehydrates a lot of his tomatoes. You might like to try that with your surplus.

Been looking into that myself after chatting with him.

Read some things on the internet about doing it in the oven at 250. Sliced up some, put them on a stainless steel rack and gave it a whirl. Some charred completely black in just a couple hours. Could try 200 but thinking about investing in a dehydrator. Any advice anyone?

Go with the dehydrator. They are pretty inexpensive and control the heat better than an oven. We haven't done tomatoes just because we haven't had any bumper crop years. But usually do mushrooms, apples, and herbs

Most of our flowers are in pots. Spikes, petunias, gladiolus, sweet potato and some others I think. Got them interspersed with herbs in pots. Oregano, marjoram, thyme, parsley, chives, dill, sage  and basil.
