All I'm saying is..... Don't attempt to make ME feel like an idiot for not putting on a PFD in the boat ramp parking lot before even launching the boat. I hear the same BS at the bike shop and bike forums about riding my mountain bike without a goofy looking skull cap. When I grab the grinder I put on safety glasses, but not when I grab a file. Same thing. Smalliebigs 1

176champion Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Well wrench if you fell off you bike and hit your head you would probably crack or break what ever you hit other than your hard head. Now you make me feel like an idiot because I don't wear safety glasses half the time with a grinder and if you can throw file saving off a file like you do and grinder my hats off to you.. fishinwrench 1 I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! fishinwrench Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 I had a 1.25" grinder wheel grenade back when I worked at the marina. Chunks of that wheel buzzed right past my head & chest, went through walls and busted lights and high pressure air lines. I'm sure that one of the other idiots had misused the grinder and cracked the wheel, but I still cringe every time I hit the switch on my bench grinder. I mean, YIKES! 😮
176champion Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 "I usually have my regular glasses on when running a grinder and such...I have had several of them die grinder cut off wheels come apart, caught my shirt on fire one time with a 10" body grinder...lol I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! I don't know how many times I've seen the boat very SLOWLY drifting into a log or rock, and think I've set myself to keep my balance when it hits, and then nearly been knocked out of the boat. Bad things never happen right up until they do. Daryk Campbell Sr, snagged in outlet 3, BilletHead and 1 other 4
