If you wanted some temperate action you could just drop in below Bagnel right?? Not doggin you just wondering why the goose chase if you have that action right there near the house. The main reason for going to NFOW is to fish for the trout. I was just saying that IF the trip coincided with the temperate bass run it would be a potential bonus, and maybe I'd stay 3 nights instead of 2. My lack of enthusiasm about fishing below Bagnell is proof that there's more to fishing than catching fish for me. The scenery there is blah, and the smell/taste of that mist in the air is horrid. Whenever I hang out down there all I wanna do is hurry up and get home so I can take a shower and brush my teeth. I just can't adjust to that environment. 😝 tho1mas and snagged in outlet 3 2
Ham Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Liner Creek is s long cold run in a trout boat. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Gavin Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 You could get a light boat with a TM or small outboard on anywhere. Would like to head to Sunburst in the spring and looking for a 5hp outboard.

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Gavin Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Have a 17’ paddle Jon and a 55tm. Works well. FW, Now you know. Give me a hollar if you find one. Might have to haul down and “test” it on the boat. The 7.5 would probably work if willing to separate from the gheenoe.
fishinwrench Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Gavin, I will. Daryk, What's the max h.p. rating on the Gheenoe? Got a pic of it handy?

It runs fine, doesn't like the cold with the manual choke. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. fishinwrench Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Dang it. If it would take a 15 I'd be seriously interested. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Gavin Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Think I’d prefer a Yamaha 5-6hp 2 stroke. The 55tm runs up 3-4 miles easy but it’s a slow ride and drains the battery hard. It runs great down river. Did 20 miles on the G Nade in 24 hours. Put on at 4pm Friday, fished till dark, camped, fished. Ran out of river! Pulled out at 4pm Friday. We planned for two nights. Need a longer down river float next time. Daryk Campbell Sr and fishinwrench 2
