Watch for floating fish! Typically on Pomme during high water and flooded vegetation is when we see dead fish bodies caused by poor water quality resulting in stress leading to bacterial infections. White bass are usually the first to go.

Yeah seems pomme has those issues a bit more that other area lakes...perhaps too much cow caca washing in?

Maybe everyone should stay away sounds like all the fish are going to die. I will let you know the fishing gets better.😁

Last year the bank was piled with dead fish up by the Dam.

Truman will likely set a new record, Pomme is a decent rain event away from a new record, Stockton might require a bigger event to set a new record.

Unless a drought begins immediately Truman won't see 706.0 again before Thanksgiving.  The lakes above Truman..... y'all are gonna be high all Summer too.

Lovely Lake of the Ozarks will remain at normal pool with a steady transfusion going on all Summer long.  This is why I chose to live here. 😊

Too bad all the fish have been moved to PB2.  😛 Besides, a flooded Stockton has been pretty amazing in the past. I'd have you come down but, 5 or 6 county, boats everywhere, sugar britches, yada, yada, yada,......................................

Flooded=good

High and falling= terrible.
