A trade school is an education though, and all colleges are not the same.

I’ll agree on that, but I think you’d be surprised what most colleges are doing now.

...In other news: Our president was impeached and stocks are at record highs today!

Everybody keeps saying that !  🙄

Even the middle kid text me a bit ago and says that is all her teachers want to discuss today.    I told her to request politely that her teachers knock it off and just go ahead and do the job that we are paying them to do !

Haven't looked up the actual definition, but I am under the assumption that "impeached" means EFFECTIVELY REMOVED FROM THE POSITION.    Is that incorrect ?

Impeached does not mean removed from office.  Think of the impeachment as more of a grand jury who says yest there is enough evidence for a trial.  The Senate will hold the trial and I believe Chief Justice Roberts will preside over it.

I would think that impeachment of a sitting president certainly qualifies as a teaching opportunity,  maybe not for math class but certainly in many other classes.  Not for the political value but a discussion of what impeachmentioned is and what the process is.  If it weren't for Google most of the public wouldn't have a clue.

True that.  I didn't and I've lived through 3 of them now.    😅
