Sounds like they got the Crytalens that improves your medium to long range vision but may still require readers. I paid up for the multi focal lens. shocking difference in my vision. I was living in candlelight is the best way to describe it. Now I live in brilliant sunshine! That sounds like an even bigger improvement than they described. Good for you. John

Did they not report great results? I know several people who have had it and they are the same as me. Cataract surgery is the most performed surgery in the US.
FishnDave Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I had prescription sunglasses. Then I switched to just putting Coccoons over my prescription glasses. Then I got Lazik in January 2019. Now I have Costa and Smith polarized sunglasses for fishing. I was nearsighted. Now I need readers sometimes....usually only in low light (like for reading a restaurant menu), or if the print is really small. And I use them when tying flies...I could tie without them, but it just makes seeing the fly better with the readers. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

She went with the high dollar new lenses too. She's had both eyes done in the last 18 months. Her eyesight has improved and she said it was like she was living in a fog before. But she still needs the readers. Fine by me. If her vision get's any better she'll leave my fatass. Daryk Campbell Sr, ness and jfrith 3

If anything, my extreme long range vision is a little blurry but my near vision is unreal.

moguy1973 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I've tried a few different affordable polarized glasses companies that I use for fishing. One is FishGillz and the other is Shady Rays. The FishGillz aren't built really well but they are cheap and one thing I love about them is they float. I use them for fishing and swimming. Shady Rays are a little nicer and they have a lifetime warranty on them. If anything happens to them, even if you lose them, they will send you a new pair. Neither are Costa quality, but they do the job and don't break the bank. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

They look legit, and seem to be better quality from the description on the website. There is a buddy of mine who really likes his. That’s all I have to go by but they seem like good quality for a reasonable price. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
