rps Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 My goals are simple. I have found the drive to Skiatook Lake too long to be fun. The fishery compares poorly to Tablerock. I have been spoiled. Goal 1: Sell the boat. Goal 2: Book trips with quality guides on superb waters. Bill on Tablerock. Buster on Bull. ? on the White River below Bull. ? on Grand Lake. And so on. I figure it will take me 5 or 6 years to use the proceeds from the boat. At 70, that is not too bad. Bill Babler, give me a save the date in late March, late April, and late May on Thursdays or Fridays. BTW, who wants to buy a Lund Rebel XS Sport with a 90 HP Evinrude ETEC, Ulterra TM, and decent graphs? Terrierman 1
Terrierman Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 I think my 2019 fishing goal is well in hand. My 2020 fishing goal is to fish in 2021. I wouldn't mind going a little more often either, but that's more an objective than a goal. Daryk Campbell Sr, Johnsfolly and Mitch f 3

Never really thought of a boat that way, but, makes sense. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

I think I will always have a boat. Even if someone else has to run it for me. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Hey, you are always welcome to come over here to BV and do some fishing with me, we can probably catch a bass or two.

Usual bunch will be camping in the usual spot Weds-Saturday next week...Will be sore lipping em long before you can get there, so dont bother. I upped my shooting game this year too. Added several to the shooting gallery. I am gonna build a range at the farm with a covered bench and a berm. Weather keeps me from shooting sometimes. I am going to reload more this year too, develop some pet loads for the .300 Blk Out, 6.5 Grendel, and 5.56. Upscale the triggers from std mil spec. And, spend more time shooting. My pistol reflex is getting rusty and the eyes are not focusing on the sights like they used to... Sucks to get old, but the extra time gives you something to do. Gavin Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 40 ish dead backyard squirrels this year. They are still thick, but wiser, and harder to kill. Neighbor & his 3 boys shoot a pile too. They will get stupid again with some snow.
