Carry Weapon?

I was confronted with the same issues when they took out my right arm.  First problem, either carry a revolver that could be fired either hand, or carry an auto with ambidex safety.  Shooting with the off hand posed some issues, but I did a little practice and was good enough for protection. 

A 380 with good loads will get the job done if needed.  But nothing beats a 45 acp in my book.  I like my Shield 45, fits nicely in a waist band or paddle holster.

I was told Hollow Points wouldn't get penetration with the .380. Had a Guy shoot through a small tree. I switched to Hollow Points.

Like I told my wife I wouldn't want someone shooting at me with one.

Seen a Guy get shot in the Head with .38 and lived. You don't always get in trouble shooting someone. My wife shot a Guy with a Shotgun. Law didn't say a word.

My Right Arm is very Good and I'm a great Shot with it, just getting to it. Plus I have to lower it to put another Mag. in now.

A knife can deploy faster than a gun at close range. Edge of your credit/debit card will slice too. Slash at the forehead, eyes, hands to disable. Used to carry but just extra weight IMO.

Man this cracks me up..... I think if some of you boys came up here in real ghetto of North St Louis most of ya would turn into Casper the ghost. I only carry in very select areas where I have to take pics of properties up here and it’s more of a matter of self awareness. Out in the sticks I don’t even consider it, I’m with GAVIN take a blade, although I had a piece with me when I floated with him and Larry StL on the Piney once and almost broke it out hahahaha so I may be talking out my posterior on this one.

Getting around in the North STL Hood is no big deal. Wear a suit and tie, carry a brief case. Do your business and don't linger. The skells will think you are the lawyer or the insurance man there to help their neighbor(Only reason to go there). Show up casual and linger,  you are a mark. Should not be there, desperate for drugs or foul poontang, and you have a pocket full of cash and a vehicle. Would be lucky to leave with an STD, empty wallet, and the vehicle.

The 45 was on me when I was with Wrench the day I met him.

Always carrying, no matter what.  Not that I am worried, but you never know.  The world is a different place today, but I have had one close since I was 16.  Concealed carry is just something new in the past few years.  It was something I only did when I felt the need.

Open carry brings up too many questions.  More now than back in the older days. 

I remember the days when the Smith 686 6" laid on the seat beside me in a canoe on a float. 2 rounds of shot shell and 4 hollow points was a standard load.  Nobody paid much attention to it.  I have a pic of a nice Kenai River Trout I am holding with my 1911 in a shoulder holster behind it.

And I always have a blade.

I prefer to be always prepared to fight. But if one of us has a gun on them the fight isn't gonna happen.  So whaddya do then.....just stand there and mean-mouth each other?   

If someone makes a crude comment to your wife or daughter, or grabs her @zz....and you're packing a pistol.... whaddya gonna do?

I don’t care if you have a weapon or not. Bad mouth, grab, my wife or daughters and me and my family will be leaving promptly. Depending on the circumstances, I might accept an apology or offer one for my, wife's, or child's behavior. The relationship might be over. Bye and pressing charges if you touch one of my daughters. Lots of options before you get into your Rambo fantasy. I’m not going to court & risking a civil lawsuit for a macho fantasy.

Good luck pressing charges.  I'm sure the shitbum will openly share his name and contact info with ya so you can give it to the "authorities".   

I've had that scenario play out, and Macho Rambo made the douchebag stand there and apologize while Sugarbritches b!tch slapped him in the left ear.  It was either that or I was gonna remove his adams apple for him.

I rarely party with folks I don't know...so tracking down the monkey dodo head s/b no issue....Heck, just snap a pick on your phone of the monkey dodo bum.
