I bank fish use 2 inch Glow Sticks on end of my Rods and a light on bill of my Hat I turn on when I have a fish on. Found bugs bad with lights.

Just wondering what others use? Where I fish most just build a small fire or use Coleman Lanters.

I was thinking charging up a Battery running a small LED Light off it.

Some of the lights that go on a bill of your hat come in other colors besides white light, like green or red, that might not attract bugs as much.  Have you tried those?

The new battery powered LED Coleman lanterns are the greatest thing since the creation of the sun.  Did a 2 night, and then a 3 night camping trip, and then used it during our last power outage.  All on the same handful of D batteries.  And they still aren't dead.

That will work better than what I was thinking. I have a Small Bar with 12v, Battery.

What is bad at night anymore the Coons are fearless, come up there all over a person.

Better than skunks!  We were at Quarry Park on the Norfork 3 years ago and it was crazy.  One minute drinking a beer and the next there is a skunk under my lawn chair.

That would be worse than a skunk:D  I hate skunks.  These things literally walked right up to our camp fire like it was noting.

I thought skunks were born dead on the road.  I never see a live one.

Camp at Montauk or Quarry Park and you will.   You probably don't stay awake long enough to see them since they are primarily nocturnal...:D
