Big Bass Tour Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 We are certainly frustrated by what's transpired but it's out of anyone's control. We are wishing you all the best in this time. We will get through this. Stay safe everyone! Mark Lake Lover, Quillback, magicwormman and 2 others 5

Members gwh Posted March 20, 2020 Members Posted March 20, 2020 Same time as the $100,00 Wally Marshall crappie invitational.
Big Bass Tour Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Unfortunately there’s no possible way to avoid other events.
Members 8pounder Posted March 20, 2020 Members Posted March 20, 2020 For me, it’s a very difficult time of year to catch fish, let alone a big one, at the Rock. I bet there will be a lot of 2 lb fish in the money. Boats and trucks come in one color - RED, and peanut butter has to be crunchy.
Targa98 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 At least everybody has the same conditions. No doubt so big ones will still be caught and a few years from now everyone will benefit from this years spawn if it doesnt get crazy flooded

Targa98 Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Ok gentlemen and ladies, I see they are considering a early june date to reschedule this again. I look forward to the time staying at the lake for a getaway during this tourn. But is anyone else worried about the safety aspect of this during that time of summer. The boat traffics is crazy already and will only be worse in 3 or 4 weeks I'm guessing. I'd rather keep it in November but will participate either way. The survey they sent out was short and sweet and I would fish it either way but Later would be better safety wise. IMO which isnt worth much I'm sure. Lol.....that is all eyedabassman 1

Lol.....that is all The primary driver here is that we are not guaranteed that we can host the event in the fall given Covid and at this point we would likely be able to execute the event in early June. We've hosted in June in the past and we understand that there's pleasure boat traffic. We have always allowed trailering in our events and there's options for those making longer runs. There are tournaments on Table Rock in June and it's part of the process. We should have updates from the survey later today or tomorrow and we will move quickly if the feedback is positive. Thanks everyone!
