Fishing the Blue ribbon area on the Eleven Point and the NFOW,

I have been asked to set up a trip for eight guys that want to fish the Blue ribbon areas of The Eleven Point and the North Fork of the White Rivers. I was thinking that staying in West Plains and Floating the Eleven Point one day and then floating the NFOW the next would be the way to go. What float operators and places to stay would you guys recommend?

Bill I agree with the Sunburst recommendation on the NFOW. I would assume the Eleven point folks are good as well. I just have not used their services. You should also check out the lodging at Sunburst Ranch as well as looking into West Plains.

Brian Sloss is Mister Eleven Point.  For information, shuttle, boats and local lodging that's just great.

You can’t go wrong with Brian Sloss or Sunburst. Sunburst has new owners, but Brian & Stephanie are top notch. Justin & Amy are still around. It's about a 45 minute trip from one to the other, and about the same to Arkansas. If the fishing is slow on one...easy to day trip to another.

To each their own, but spending a day figuring out the bite on one river, then moving to a whole different river for the next day seems more like a sight-seeing trip than a fishing trip.

You'll get dialed in better, catch more fish, eat better/sleep better, and reduce the chaos factor by 96% if you pick one river and stay with it both days.  Save the other river for another trip.   With 8 guys you're gonna have at least 2 that get stone blind drunk, 1 that falls and gets injured, 2 that tempt hypothermia, 2 broken rods, and at least 1 that comes down with the Kung flu and is puking every 3 hours.     Best to keep the trip more simple IMO.

Beside what @fishinwrench said, 8 guys on any one stretch of those rivers is a lot. 

Of course I don't know who the heck Wrench fishes with but our group isn't like that.

If it was YOUR group there'd probably be 1 opioid overdose, 3 that are homesick and upset about phone service, 1 taken to the nearest ER to remove a Hotwheel from his rectum, and 3 not eating with the others because they are vegan.   😂

Actually we have thinned the herd from the early years.  When a guy only gets once a year from his wife and he sits down at the campfire with an 18 pack and a bottle crown...Lookout!

NFOW is a great river.  Good fishing and its pretty too.  An awesome trip.  But.  The Eleven Point is even better on all counts.   I agree with wrench on doing one or the other.   They'll both accommodate a two day trip with less total hassles and more river time.  Good luck no matter what the deal turns out to be.
