According to the national weather service: Springfield is 10"+ ahead of normal. Joplin is 9" ahead of normal. Harrison is 8"+ ahead of normal. Fayetteville is 7.5"+ ahead of normal. We're not 50% through the year and in most cases we are 25-40% ahead of normal on precipitation. What we really need is a dry week with normal to above normal temperatures and some wind. Followed by a few light 1/2" rains throughout the week. This is go time for most of agriculture.

You aren’t wrong, but I bet BSL comes up another foot overnight. It will come up again with TR releases Beaver’s water. We are one more 2 inch rain from them opening flood gates again. rps and mixermarkb 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

mojorig Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 I'm guessing there isn't going to be much water release this week from either Bull or Norfork based off the forecast for the Newport gauge. mixermarkb 1 Jeremy Risley District Fisheries Supervisor AGFC Mountain Home Office - 1-877-425-7577 Email: Jeremy.Risley@agfc.ar.gov

mojorig Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 I realize this is the Bull Shoals Lake page but things are getting interesting over at Norfork Lake. It is predicted to peak at 579 which is one foot from top of flood pool. We have another storm coming through this weekend and predicted to last till Monday. mixermarkb 1 Jeremy Risley District Fisheries Supervisor AGFC Mountain Home Office - 1-877-425-7577 Email: Jeremy.Risley@agfc.ar.gov

I'm supplying shaft casing for the US 150 over the Illinois River in Peoria IL and yesterday they shut down work because the river is 2' from record flood. And it's headed down the Mississippi. mixermarkb 1
