Might as well start the topic... we're heading in to something next week that looks pretty ominous.

Beaver is basically full.  Table Rock will crest about 725, 6 feet left in it's pool.  Bull will crest about 691.5 and it has 3.5 feet left in its pool.

They are holding till everything is full and then will release, match what's running in.  Below BS will get the worst of it, getting the brunt of all the basin but we (Taneycomo) will get it too, seeing the rain is coming from the west this time.

Rain Friday, then starts again Sunday for 5 days.

I have a marine contractor that was supposed to be driving pile this month.  They put it off for two months already because the Mississippi is running full in the STL area of the job.

It's set up for a pay me now or pay me later situation.  Have to let the water run at some point, seems to me it is better to do it when you have some control over it rather than waiting until everything overflows and at that point you have no control.  Forecast is still several days out, just have to hope it fizzles out and we don't get much rain.

Norfork is getting really close to being an issue and they have no off switch for the Buffalo River and Crooked Creek.

I'm due down next Friday May 29th and staying all the way thru the first week of June.  I'm guessing we are looking at flood gates when i'm there I bet.  We have alot of rain in the forecast here in south central kansas forecast for the coming weekend, 3 to 5 inches in fact.  Alot of time those rains drift towards the ozarks.  Setting up to be a a close rough situation down there the way it looks.
