I have a Ez load trailer for my supreme style boat.  I need to replace some carpet on my bunk boards and was curious if anyone is using anything other then carpet for bunks. I seen some different wraps out there, I believe one company was gatorbak but I had no experience with it.  Thanks for the input.

I saw one with what looked like plastic cutting board material.   I assume UMHW material...  Would never have to replace the carpet again.

I’d stick with carpet. Less chance of dumping one on the ramp.

Dumped the jet boat on the ramp this weekend.  Same ramp I have used all season, something just decided to slide and off it went about half way down.  Landed on the jet foot and was a bithc to get back on.

Carpet bunks, 2x on edge.

25 years of launching boats, never had one slide off like that.

I will have to try something different from now on.  Would have really jacked up a prop lower on a heavy boat.

Had to do an emergency bunk job TODAY after a 40 foot step hull BAJA launched yesterday and 8 of the 12 bunks slid off into the water with the boat.  Screenshot_20200823-233236~2.png

Makes it a pleasure to replace the bunks on that Jon boat trailer, hu?

Im not sure the brand but i have these plastic things that go around the board and they are so slick it is scary.  Even on ramps that are not steep, as soon as i release the tension on the winch she slides right in.  I cant even nose my boat up to the roller without it sliding back when loading.   I keep telling myself im going to carpet them one of these days
