tjm Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 My Firefox also shows it unsecure. Have no idea when it became that way.
moguy1973 Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 I wonder if it's a Adobe Flash issue. I know Chrome is doing away with Flash support at the end of the year, and every now and then I'll get a message at the top of the browser window asking me if I want to disable it. Not sure if the new forum version uses Flash or not, so it may be a reach on if it's affecting it or not. I've switched from using Chrome to the new version of Edge Chromium, which uses the Chrome code, and I haven't had any issues since the forum switch and all works as it should. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
ness Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 I'll mention this again. When I have a very weak wi-fi signal, like when I go upstairs and I'm still connected to the downstairs router, I will get that same error message. I can make it go away by (a) turning off wi-fi and using cell service or (2) switching to my upstairs wi-fi repeater (same wi-fi, stronger signal). I use iPhone and iMac both with Safari. I'm not a tech guy at all, and it doesn't make any sense to me, but maybe this will help in some way. Daryk Campbell Sr and Champ188 2 John
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 I have had issues in the past similar to what Ness addressed. When I would go to certain restaurants and their wifi would be the source of internet, I had problems. Turned off wifi, using cell data, no problems. This pertains to my android phone. Maybe something to do with router security. ness 1 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Members CarlN Posted October 21, 2020 Members Posted October 21, 2020 Since it looks as if he is using Chrome, try clearing the browser cache. This resolves most browser related issues. Click on the 3 dots below the X where you click to close your browser. Select "More Tools" and then "Clear browsing data..." In the window that pops up select the "Basic" tab, in the drop down change it to "All Time" and check the 3 boxes. Keep in mind, this will clear your browsing history. So any sites that you visit frequently should be bookmarked to make getting back to them easier.

I'm using Google Chrome and seems to be working fine for me. I'm on a mac. The "like" link is an http url, but that should not be a problem. Hover over the like heart and right click, you will bring up a menu shown below. Click "open link in new tab". This will show a new tab with the link, hit enter and it should perform the like, or you will get some kind of message, I'm curios what is does. or maybe this will provide some more info to help diagnose. well, that allowed me to like content, but still no pics. bo Daryk Campbell Sr 1

dpitt Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 What do you get with images? can you share a screen shot of your browser?
dpitt Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Also, are you seeing any images in adds or profile images of users?
dpitt Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 So i saw your previous screen shots.. try this... follow the steps below, the goal is to see if javascript is enabled and loading images is allowed in your browser settings. Also, check these settings, but if you have any antivirus/ad blocker software running, make sure it's not turned up to much, that could also be the problem, To test you could turn off, then see if it resolved, but don't leave it off, you might have to fiddle with settings.
