I got the shingrix shots last year with no issues at all.  Arm was a little sore.  But I think that from the mega sets of 80 pound curls I was doing later that day....😂

Yeah no issues here either on the 2 stage Shingrex except for the sore arm.

Got the free flu vaccine a couple of weeks ago, no issues there either.

Tell that to my cousin who just got out of the hospital with it and has to be on oxygen for the foreseeable future.

My sympathies, but listen.....You can't go shutting the entire world down because someone has a bad reaction to a tick bite or bee sting.   The whole Covid ordeal is beginning to look like an immune deficiency type thing.  How else do you explain all the positive tests with little to no symptoms?

Maybe a study of the lifestyle and eating habits of the folks that have died from the stupid thing is in order.    I mean, maybe Gluten and Tobacco isn't so bad for ya after all. 🤷

Who knows.

Pat brought home flu shot to give me. She is slick at giving it. Never felt anything. I do ask for it on days she isn't mad at me. :) .

So the shingles pair was a different deal. Got them in 2019. They did not give them at the clinic. Had to do it at Wal Mart. Man I was ready for pat to take that syringe from the pharmacist.  I swear that gal took that needle and dulled it on the wall before her shaking hands stuck me. Then i had to go back and take the second one later! UGH

I don't remember any issues after the shingles shot.  But I can guaran-dam-tee it's still better than shingles.  Been there done that.  Haven't been to get my flu shot yet but wife is beginning to nag about it.

Me I can for most not have any Alcohol.

Get up take care of the Dogs. Take my Medication and then take care of Chickens and then eat. Then read my Bible.

Then see if it is raining. If it isn’t busy day. Cut Firewood, Mow or just go Fishing.

If it is raining I drink Coffee and watch TV. I might go to town. Coronavirus be dang!

Lot of it depends how sick I am too. Today is bad.

Doctor has insisted I get Flu Shot and Pneumonia Shot. I had Shingles Shot but was told it wasn’t no good.

Man if I saw them coming at me with shaky hands holding a needle, I'd bolt.  I don't watch myself, needles give me the willies.

For awhile I had to give myself shots. I only messed up once. I didn’t think I could do it. I have to have Blood Work often and now I know the best vein.

My wife wanted to practice on me giving shots when she was going to school. Nope not happening.

Needles no issue. Been stuck enough it does not bother me. Get my annual blood draws before Pat goes to work. Like I said she is good at it. I watch her stick and then the blood goes into the vials. I have a tendency to not drink enough and be a little dehydrated it is pretty thick looking stuff.

They used the same needle the second time as the first shingle shot on me.  She said: "It's clean, I wiped it under my arm"😂
