Someone has to police this Mitch, or we have a bunch of people catching 15 inch 17 and 18 inchers all the time thanks to their alternative measuring methods. C'mon now, we have to maintain the integrity of our sport...Ā  Ā  .šŸ¤£

Well, Iā€™ve been a MetrologistĀ for the past 30 years, and my dad was a MetrologistĀ for over 30 years, Ā so I understand the importance of measuring methods! šŸ˜Š

I routinely catch ten to fifteen 18 to 20 cm smallmouth most times that I fished. I don't see what the big deal is, since they are really common in the Ozark creeks that I have fished.

Why did you choose metric vs. imperial?Ā

What is your measurement uncertainty?

Do you have results of a GR&R?

I use that one on my wife. Metric always sounds bigger! šŸ˜‚
