I  think it is allot harder to cast 100' with a 5wt. They don't "hover in the air." unless your hot wind is running😄!

I gotta disagree with that.  Gravity and wind resistance is pretty hard to argue with.    

You definitely see more hardballs knocked over the fence than you do softballs.   

Given three rocks....A tiny pebble, a golf ball sized rock, and a rock the size of your foot......Which one can you throw the furthest?

Now....consider which one you can shoot the furthest with a slingshot.

I fish out of a Towee micro skiff, not a ton a room especially when throwing integrated sinking line. So, i bought a collapsable leaf basket on Amazon, cut all the extra handles off, and put a floor in it for stability. Works well, My son just tried it out...see pic below.
