Thanks giving at Piney

It was pea soup foggy this morning.  No company coming so my wife and I went to Cape Fair.  It was 10:30 before we arrived.  First stop gave a keeper on a spinner bait.  Next stop a short on the same bait.  I tried a wort but it was futile.  I also threw brush hogs and baby brush hogs,  no love there either one.

When in doubt shaky out..  I caught 9 on the shaky.  They were less than 10 feet deep.  Then the bite QUIT.  I couldn’t get anything. I moved over a point and saw a little stuff in 20 fow.  I hadn’t used Ned yet so I fished it parallel and caught 3.  I couldn’t repeat that on any other point so I put out the fire and called in the dogs.

Now for some turkey and dressing.

Well done Dutch. I was hoping to do the same thing but the wife came down with the Covid-19 so we had to make other plans... Glad you were good to go.

Steve, good luck to your wife. We went through that about a month ago. My wife tested positive and we quarantined for 14 days. Her symptoms were mild and I never had symptoms. Last week I donated blood and they conducted the antibody test to see if I ever had Covid. The test came back negative. Go figure. Doctor can’t explain why I didn’t get it after being so close to my wife for 14 days.

Thanks Mike..... so far so good. She plans to go back to work on Monday 11/30. I am still symptom free.... hope it stays that way.

BEWARE!!!! My wife and another couple went to visit a friend who was in the hospital for 3 weeks and home for 2 weeks. They all went into their home.......bad mistake! All 3 came down with covid and than my lovely wife shared it with me! I had a lighter case than my wife. She was sick for 14 days, but I was only sick for 6 days. We both had no energy the entire time and I had the NASTIEST taste in my mouth. I couldn't even drink coffee and I lost 9 lbs in a week! We self quarantined for 3 weeks and than went to get the antibody blood test and we both tested positive. We are going to Springfield next week to give blood plasma. I understand there is a real need for it at this time. Please don't believe 14 days is enough if you go into a home.

Do you have any lingering problems?  
Good job on giving plasma and I’m glad you’re ok.

Magicwormman, glad you guys are on the mend. It’s no wonder the medical experts are baffled by Covid as the degree of symptoms are all over the board. Kudos for donating plasma.
